Robot Cards

My mom needed 3 birthday cards for our church pastors' kids aged between 3~10 years old.

Well, I bought MME's Lil' Robots kit a long while ago for the purpose of making more masculine / boyish cards. So when she told me that she needed the cards, I couldn't wait to break out that set.

I'm also a big believer in giving things that are re-useable / recyclable. So I wanted to make cards that the receiver can salvage things from.

With that in mind, here's what I came up with:

Robot Card 1

Robot Card 2

Robot Card 3

The chipboard Robots on all these 3 cards are removable. I used my Basic Grey file set to scratch the back of the chipboard sticker backings so that they become rough, then adhered them onto the card using 1/2" glue dots.

Although Robot Card 2 is very plain and simple, I like it the most. That's because the tag is clipped on with a paper clip and the "happy birthday" is a post-it that can be removed. So the receiver of the card will end up having a tag he can customize into a bookmark and a robot sticker. :D I'm so excited for him.

Well, I hope these kids like their robot stickers (cards)!

Magnetic Notepad

My sister requested for a note pad with a pen holder she can stick on her fridge. Her house has a very monochromatic theme where everything is kind of grey scale and she likes things plain and simple.

So with that in mind, here's what I made for her.

Hope she likes it!
