Another Stamping Plates Album

Wow! It's been AGES since my last post.

Well, I couldn't resist the new Bundle Monster plates and purchased 2 sets! One for myself and the other for my sweetest cousin as her birthday present (though i gave it to her like 2-3 weeks late)... Since the set comes with 25 plates, I thought she'd appreciate an album she could keep them in. Seeing the way she dresses and the types of bags she likes, I thought she'd like something with lace.... so here's what I made.

Because this album will be flipped frequently and maybe tossed about, I had to make sure that the lace stayed on secure. To do so, I first pierced the cover with my Making Memories paper piercer and then stitched the lace on. It's pretty secure (fingers crossed).

Hope she likes it! :D

Robot Cards

My mom needed 3 birthday cards for our church pastors' kids aged between 3~10 years old.

Well, I bought MME's Lil' Robots kit a long while ago for the purpose of making more masculine / boyish cards. So when she told me that she needed the cards, I couldn't wait to break out that set.

I'm also a big believer in giving things that are re-useable / recyclable. So I wanted to make cards that the receiver can salvage things from.

With that in mind, here's what I came up with:

Robot Card 1

Robot Card 2

Robot Card 3

The chipboard Robots on all these 3 cards are removable. I used my Basic Grey file set to scratch the back of the chipboard sticker backings so that they become rough, then adhered them onto the card using 1/2" glue dots.

Although Robot Card 2 is very plain and simple, I like it the most. That's because the tag is clipped on with a paper clip and the "happy birthday" is a post-it that can be removed. So the receiver of the card will end up having a tag he can customize into a bookmark and a robot sticker. :D I'm so excited for him.

Well, I hope these kids like their robot stickers (cards)!

Magnetic Notepad

My sister requested for a note pad with a pen holder she can stick on her fridge. Her house has a very monochromatic theme where everything is kind of grey scale and she likes things plain and simple.

So with that in mind, here's what I made for her.

Hope she likes it!

Cally's Nail Plates Album

My cousin bought some nail plates from Bundle Monster and I thought she might need a nail plates album, so I offered to make her one. She told me that she has 25 plates and wants 10 additional pockets for other nail plates she might want to buy in the future. She also told me that she likes red and showed me a picture of her iPhone cover which is bright red with white polka dots.

With that as my basic concept, here's what I made for her.

Materials used:
1. Patterned Paper - My Mind's Eye Designer Single Sided Paper Pad - Bright Dots
2. Stamp Set - Ginger, American Crafts
3. Others: Bind It All, Silver Brads - Making Memories, Label Die - Quickutz Santa's Workshop, Silver String - Singapore. Misc - local Bookstore

It contains 10 pages with 4 pockets on each page, so there are 40 pockets altogether. I hope it's enough for her! :D
